Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Risk Management Specialist. The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining and implementing industry best practices for security risk management, while also driving innovation and improvement within our organization.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute a strategic vision for our security risk program, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify, track and reduce security risks across all aspects of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving our security risk practices, evaluating and selecting new security requirements, tools and practices, and growing the presence and thought leadership of our security risk management practice.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional academic qualifications, strong leadership and management abilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of security assessments and risk management. They will also have expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks, as well as broad knowledge of how to operationalize the management of security risk.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our leadership and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures and standards that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors to stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and best practices.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM field, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional academic record and strong leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically
  • Deep understanding of security assessments and risk management, with expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks
  • Broad knowledge of how to operationalize the management of security risk, with ability to analyze and improve security risk practices
