We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end procurement cycles, ensuring timely availability of goods and services while maintaining compliance with regulations.


Key Responsibilities

The following are key responsibilities:


  • Procurement Operations:
  • Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with facility requirements.
  • Manage purchase requisitions, request for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders (POs), and contract documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities are cost-effective, transparent, and in line with internal policies.
  • Track deliveries and resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, or quality issues.

Vendor & Contract Management

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers locally and internationally, negotiating pricing, credit terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally, ensuring best value and quality.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor list, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Build and sustain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply chain performance.

Inventory & Supply Chain Support

The Procurement Manager will work closely with the warehouse and clinical departments to monitor inventory levels of medical and non-medical supplies.


  • Supply Chain Support:
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and clinical departments to monitor inventory levels of medical and non-medical supplies.
  • Ensure critical items such as medicines, PPE, equipment, and consumables are stocked adequately.
  • Support in implementing inventory control measures to reduce wastage and pilferage.

Compliance & Reporting

The Procurement Manager must ensure all procurement activities comply with Bahraini regulations and healthcare standards.


  • Reporting:
  • Support audits, inspections, and reporting related to procurement and supply chain.
  • Prepare periodic procurement reports (spend analysis, supplier performance, cost savings, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and minimum 7-10 years' procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; healthcare/Service Industry experience is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications:
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent are an advantage.
