Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and select potential suppliers and manufacturers in the Middle East region to meet business needs.
  • Conduct market research and provide analytical reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to source materials, equipment and services that meet quality and performance standards.
  • Lead the sourcing and contracting process, including RFP management and supplier negotiations to achieve best value.
  • Develop and maintain SCM standards and tendering procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services.
  • Draft, negotiate and maintain contracts that meet business requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for management to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Additional training in procurement is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas equipment and services market in the Middle East.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
