Food Safety and QHSE Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated trainer responsible for conducting public and in-house training that addresses the training needs on Food Safety, QHSE, and related topics, aligned with local and international standards and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex training activities in Food Safety & QHSE
  • Develop course and workshop materials in line with international standards and client requirements
  • Evaluate trainees through assessments to achieve effective certification
  • Share expert knowledge on legal, regulatory, and industry segments
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for compliance
  • Plan and deliver training activities effectively and timely, providing technical support to sales
  • Conduct training sessions based on client needs, adhering to established standards
  • Maintain current professional knowledge, credentials, and certifications
  • Support and mentor junior trainers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards such as QHSE, ISO, and legal requirements

Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in microbiology, veterinary, engineering, HSE, science, or relevant fields
  • Certifications in IRCA, HABC, Train The Trainer, Level 4 Food Safety & HACCP
  • ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 22000 certifications
  • Pre-qualification as a Trainer from Municipality
  • 3 years' experience with a degree or 8 years' with a diploma in a similar training field
  • Experience in recognized organizations is an advantage

  • Training operations, delivery, and evaluation
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing
  • Business process management and improvement
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
