Director of Sales

A Director of Sales is a senior-level position that requires strategic thinking and leadership skills. The role involves managing the sales and marketing plans for a hotel, recommending growth efforts, and ensuring the hotel is competitively positioned in the local marketplace.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage hotel sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support business objectives.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to identify areas requiring additional support and drive focused activities to address these needs.
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel according to current business and pricing conditions.
  • Monitor offers, options, and discounts for repeat bookings, working closely with the Group Coordinator.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing sales team through sales development, participation in hiring, and individual success.
  • Direct and manage the forecasting process in conjunction with the Revenue Department to provide accurate, timely, and complete information.
  • Compile reports on the operation of the Sales Department, including the annual and monthly Forecast, Lead Management System, and Booking Reports.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proven track record in sales. They should be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and guests, demonstrate flexibility in response to changing work situations, and maintain a positive attitude towards delivering exceptional customer service.
