About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Arts and Education Specialist to join our education team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing arts and education programs that promote student engagement and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement arts and education programs that align with the SABIS curriculum and philosophy.
  2. Teach arts and education classes to students, using a variety of methods and materials to engage and motivate them.
  3. Assess student progress through regular marking and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  4. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
  5. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote student participation and motivation, enhancing their educational experience.
  6. Aid in the organization of school events and activities, contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
  7. Stay up-to-date with best practices in arts and education, attending conferences and workshops to share knowledge and ideas.

Ideal Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Education, or a related field.
  2. English Proficiency.
  3. 2+ years of teaching experience.
  4. Professional behavior and ethical conduct.
  5. Delivering results.
  6. Continuous learning and improvement.
  7. Accountability and taking ownership.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
