The Nuclear Regulatory Oversight Expert role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic consortium led by NTU International A/S. Our team is currently implementing the EU-funded project: Strengthening Egyptian nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure.
About the Project:
We are seeking experts to support our core team during the implementation of this project. The overall objective is to enhance the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the core team in implementing the EU-funded project, focusing on strengthening the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of ENRRA.
- Ensure effective regulatory oversight and guidance throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement training programs for NPP operating staff.
Requirements:
- Mastery's degree in natural science, engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (minimum CEFR Level B2).
- At least 7 years of experience working in a regulatory body or TSO for radiation or nuclear safety.
- 5+ years of experience in training and qualification of NPP operating staff.
- Experience in regulatory oversight of transport and trade is a significant asset.
