Our team is seeking a skilled Commis I to join our kitchen staff.

We are currently looking for a passionate and dynamic individual who can deliver exceptional levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work
  • Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
  • Ensure that the work area is always clean and hygienic according to the hotel's rules
  • Control food stock and minimize food cost in your section
  • Prepare the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks
  • Maintain the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and stay up-to-date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques
  • C coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training course and previous experience in quality establishments along with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate effectively in English and a proven track record of food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge is essential.
