Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support our human resources department in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Lead the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientation sessions are scheduled.
- Prepare and update job descriptions as needed.
- Employee Records and Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
- Manage HR databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Process employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely submission of timesheets and payroll data.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave management.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, escalating matters to the HR Manager as necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through regular communication and support.
- General HR Support:
- Coordinate HR events and initiatives, such as employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining HR supplies.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- Proven experience in the F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of LMRA/SIO/Immigration formalities and visa applications.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
