Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support our human resources department in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Lead the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientation sessions are scheduled.
    • Prepare and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Employee Records and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
    • Manage HR databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Process employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
    • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely submission of timesheets and payroll data.
    • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave management.
    • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, escalating matters to the HR Manager as necessary.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through regular communication and support.
  • General HR Support:
    • Coordinate HR events and initiatives, such as employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
    • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining HR supplies.
    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of LMRA/SIO/Immigration formalities and visa applications.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
