Overseas Military Security Specialist

The role involves supporting tactical command and control, planning, and execution of naval and military operations within CENTCOM's AOR.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to the Command Security Management Office.
- Perform all security tasks independently.
- Handle, mark, store, safeguard, and destroy classified materials.
- Verify security clearances and visitor requests, and assist with clearance procedures.
- Follow NISPOM guidelines in all duties.
- Conduct reviews and assessments for investigations.
Applicants must possess a current US Passport with the ability to travel and work overseas. They must also be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction , and Air Force Manual .
Required Skills:- Expert knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Preferred: prior management experience, including verifying security clearances and visitor requests, and assisting with security clearance procedures.
- Ten years of military experience.
Eligibility to access security databases like DISS and NBIS is also required. The applicant must have a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Work Environment:The Command Security Manager will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands, primarily at MacDill AFB, Florida, and in Bahrain. Travel is required to multiple countries within CENTCOM's AOR, with the ability to support rapid deployment and travel on short notice.
