Job Description:

We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Manama. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.

You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and marking materials, and selecting the appropriate tools and materials for each project.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and to develop your skills and expertise as a Carpenter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements.
  • Measure and mark materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Select appropriate tools and materials for each project.
  • Cut or shape wood pieces according to specifications.
  • Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, walls, roofs etc.
  • Sand surfaces to prepare them for painting or staining.
  • Inspect finished product for quality assurance.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Strong knowledge of wood properties and building techniques
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects
  • Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Own visa preferred but not required
