Senior Learning & Development Specialist

We are seeking a proactive Senior Learning & Development Specialist with 5 years of experience in HR, ideally within the construction or industrial sectors. This role is essential in designing, implementing, and managing effective training programs that support our employees' professional growth and the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess organizational training needs through job analysis, career pathing, and regular consultations with managers.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
  • Support the development of leadership and technical competencies aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create annual learning plans and budgets.
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Research and recommend external training providers and platforms as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Learning & Development or HR, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
