Financial Analyst
A dynamic and challenging role has become available within our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial records.

Main Responsibilities
The General Ledger and Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, supporting accounts payable operations, performing month-end close activities, and assisting with financial reporting processes. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Maintenance of the general ledger for various entities including subsidiaries, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and ledger analysis to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  2. Safeguarding the integrity of financial data by ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  3. Supporting the month-end close process through coordination with cross-functional teams to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting.
  4. Review and finalize journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
  5. Collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit findings or inquiries related to financial transactions.
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of general ledger processes.
  7. Implementing best practices and streamlining workflows to optimize resource utilization and minimize errors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of accounting principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent analytical and communication skills. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, while professional qualifications such as ACCA are highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting with a strong background in general ledger maintenance and accounts payable operations is also necessary.
