We are seeking a highly motivated Event Ticketing Operations Manager to deliver exceptional event ticketing operations, drive sales opportunities, and build strong connections with new and existing clients.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients, event managers, in-house designers, and third-party vendors leading up to the event, ensuring that both client and event requirements are met.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and close sales with clients.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and plans.
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.
  • Increase the client base through effective marketing and sales efforts.
  • Have a deep understanding of business products and value propositions.
  • Develop and present business proposals.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure deals.
  • Conduct market research to identify business strengths and customer needs.
  • Research new business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends locally and internationally.
  • Review and draft contracts.
  • Monitor and report on successes and areas needing improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Obtain necessary licenses and permits from regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate the setup and production of events, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to produce successful events.
  • Handle multiple projects, from small-scale to large-scale events.
  • Manage logistics and inventory of equipment, materials, and other items.

Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to contribute to overall business growth by:

  • Leading activation and growth initiatives, overseeing new partnerships, strategizing, planning, prospecting, negotiating, and implementing B2B products and ticket solutions.
  • Analyzing and evaluating marketing campaigns and business plans to demonstrate competitive advantage and market value, including content, influencers, digital sales, forecasts, data processing, and education in entertainment and technology.
  • Building partnerships by collaborating with marketing, product, account, customer service, finance, and legal teams to develop strategies and establish KPIs & OKRs for growth and revenue.
  • Utilizing marketplace knowledge of digital media, social media, influencer marketing, and industry trends to develop effective marketing campaigns and media plans.
  • Creating strategic analyses using internal and external data, providing pre- and post-sales support to executives, and maximizing partner revenues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
  • Three or more years of experience in business development, especially in ticketing, events management, or entertainment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven negotiation abilities.
  • An extensive network of suppliers and contractors.
  • Excellent audiovisual knowledge and hands-on skills.
  • The ability to take initiative and make sound judgments.
  • Effective crisis and time management skills.
  • A passion for events and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Calm, resourceful, independent, vigilant.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated with team leadership abilities.
  • Experience in exceeding targets.
