Job Title: Cargo Operations Coordinator

Cargo Operations Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Cargo Operations Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating cargo operations, ensuring timely delivery, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Manage cargo documentation, including customs clearance and transportation arrangements.
  • Monitor cargo movements, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Continuously assess customer needs, market trends, and competitors to enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in Customs, Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.
  • Freight Forwarding experience is mandatory.
  • Must hold a valid custom clearance license
  • Must have a valid driving license

Skills:

  • Freight Forwarding – Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • Agile Skills - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines.
  • Computer Skills - Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Analytical Skills - Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze numbers and attention to detail.
  • Communication – Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.
  • Languages - You speak and write fluent English – additional languages are a bonus, but not a must.
