Job Title: Senior Real Estate Legal Specialist

An exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Senior Real Estate Legal Specialist. This role involves delivering strategic legal advice and support to drive business growth in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal guidance on real estate matters, including negotiation of lease contracts and risk management.
  • Support the development strategy creation through legal protection and process improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure consistent support for real estate teams in contract approval processes.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, identifying proactive solutions to drive business success.
  • Draft documents, including lease agreements, fit-out agreements, and settlement agreements.
  • Research and present legal issues to internal stakeholders in a timely and solution-oriented format.
  • Compliance: set real estate processes and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and core values.
  • Litigation: manage disputes and litigation phases, collaborating with central litigation function.
  • In-house team management: supervise legal work, coach, and mentor the team to achieve KPIs aligned with company culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or LLM) or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in law practice, preferably leading a team in the Middle East.
  • Solid knowledge of real estate agreements, customary practices, and commercial structures.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Arabic language proficiency.
  • MBA or equivalent degree.
