Job Title: MEP Systems Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Systems Coordinator to oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various construction projects. This role requires strong coordination and communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration between subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of MEP systems on commercial and residential projects
  • Review and verify MEP drawings, technical submittals, and specifications to guarantee compliance with project requirements
  • Liaise between MEP subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams to resolve conflicts and align activities
  • Monitor site progress and ensure that MEP works are completed on schedule and to the required standards
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety, and adherence to standards
  • Identify and address potential design and coordination issues early in the project lifecycle
  • Support in testing and commissioning of MEP systems prior to handover
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist in project reporting and client coordination

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Related Field of Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and construction procedures

Key Skills:

  • MEP system knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors and consultants
  • Problem-solving and site conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (Revit is an asset)
