Job Title: MEP Coordinator

Job Summary:

The MEP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works across assigned construction projects. This role ensures that MEP systems are installed according to design, specifications, and project timelines, while effectively coordinating between subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of MEP systems on commercial and residential projects
  • Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Liaise between MEP subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams to resolve conflicts and align activities
  • Monitor site progress and ensure that MEP works are delivered on schedule and within budget
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and standards are met
  • Identify and address potential design and coordination issues early in the project lifecycle
  • Support in testing and commissioning of MEP systems prior to handover
  • Maintain documentation and assist in project reporting and client coordination

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Related Field of Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and construction procedures

Key Skills:

  • MEP system knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors and consultants
  • Problem-solving and site conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
