Description:
BOKHOWA CONTRACTING & TRADING GROUP W.L.L is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to define project scope and objectives, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and external partners.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation decisions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and conduct site visits to monitor progress and adherence to schedules.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and improve future project planning, and collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Use project management software to track and report project timelines, and develop contingency plans to address delays and disruptions.
  • Review and approve project plans developed by subcontractors, and facilitate communication between different project teams.
  • Collaborate in the development and preparation of design and planning programs, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee and track project progress, implementing effective monitoring systems to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of GCC experience in project planning or management.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in construction or engineering projects, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local and international construction standards, strong understanding of project lifecycle and construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ability to analyze complex data and generate insights.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in construction, problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
