Job Description

We seek an experienced Store Manager to lead our store team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the standard for excellent customer experience and inspiring your team to achieve it. You will own the employee experience, driving satisfaction and elevating team behaviors. Additionally, you will own the customer experience, driving satisfaction and increasing brand loyalty. Your goal will be to drive performance and growth through operational and commercial execution.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish a constant focus on Brand, driving engagement, knowledge, and passion across the store team.
  2. Be on the shop floor, acting as a brand ambassador and role modeling Burberry behaviours.
  3. Monitor, coach, and provide feedback to the store team to deliver excellent customer experience.
  4. Maintain a luxury environment, ensuring excellent execution and maintenance of Visual Merchandising guidelines across the store.
  5. Drive the use of digital assets to enhance the customer experience.
  6. Retail talent retention and development.
  7. Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing, positive store team.
  8. Establish a learning culture and maintain a strong connection of the store team to the Brand.
  9. Advocate product, maintaining excellent product knowledge and driving the same standard across the store team.
  10. Maintain a strong understanding of product sales performance and optimize sales of available inventory.
  11. Establish and embed customer-focused behaviors across the store team.
  12. Build and cultivate long-term customer relationships and lead the team to do the same.
  13. Familiarity with local external environment; customers, competitors, and talent.
  14. Maintain a commercial mindset and continually identify and convert opportunities to drive store performance.
  15. Drive operational excellence across all areas of the store.
  16. Ensure compliance with all corporate standards, policies, and initiatives.

Personal Profile

Demonstrated alignment with the Store Management behaviors: Service Focused Leading to Inspire Commercially Aware Developing Talent Driving Excellence Local language plus English. A passion for and interest in fashion, and a luxury ethos. Digital awareness and interest, with an ability to comfortably navigate social media and e-commerce sites. Awareness of local employment and retail legislation. Flexible to work as required to meet store needs. Experience in a luxury brand or in a luxury service and selling environment. Retail Management experience appropriate to the role, to be assessed based on the size and complexity of previous roles.
