The role of a Store Supervisor with Alabbar Enterprises & Co. involves driving store success by assisting the Brand Operations Manager in leading a team within an assigned store to achieve outstanding business results.

You will contribute to creating and maintaining a unique shop experience for our customers and employees by providing dynamic and clear store leadership.

This includes optimizing sales, products, staff, and operations while delivering budgeted financial performance.

As a Store Supervisor, you will manage and organize customer care, quality, and cost control measures, overseeing the operation of the retail store/department as required.

Orienting, training, monitoring, and directing the team are key responsibilities, motivating and inspiring them to achieve store productivity goals.

Responsibilities also include analyzing weekly/monthly sales reports and developing action plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set an example and encourage all employees to meet and exceed company goals and objectives on a consistent basis.
  • Meet and exceed service standards and sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Acquire product knowledge information provided by the company to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Spend time on the selling floor working with customers to assist them with their product selections.
  • Consistently follow and abide by established register and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Create additional sales opportunities by promoting and suggesting other appropriate items.
  • Support and participate in inventory management functions including receiving procedures, transfers, pricing procedures, product counts, and physical inventories as required.
  • Actively participate and support safety and security standards at all times.
  • Assist in meeting brand image and housekeeping standards.
  • Attend and participate in store meetings and company training sessions as required, furthering the development of skills to meet company objectives.
  • Work on department and store displays.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
  • Maintain merchandise cleanliness and readiness for display.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to company standards.
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
  • Evaluate on-the-job performance.
  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees.
  • Maintain staff productivity on respective shifts.
  • Maintain every employee's impeccability regarding grooming as per brand standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a retail confectionary in the UAE.
  • Effective communication skills in English - essential.
  • Knowledgeable in retail operations.
  • Excellent physical fitness levels.
  • Flexible working hours (Day/Night).
  • Must maintain a very high level of personal hygiene.
  • A team player with the ability to work under pressure in an extremely busy store.
