Life Guard Role Overview
">- This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of pool users, maintaining cleanliness of the swimming pool and surrounding areas, and responding to emergencies.
- As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for checking and logging water and chemical readings regularly, following daily checklists and procedures, and assisting colleagues during their absence.
- You will also be required to serve guests by providing towels, loungers, and setting up the pool area, and report relevant information to the health club in charge.
- In addition, you will need to attend staff meetings and training on lifeguarding and first aid, monitor the pool and ensure the safety of users, communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, and participate in health club events.
- Your physical fitness level should enable you to stand, bend, and kneel for most of the day, and you should have good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts is also essential, as well as excellent communication skills and a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- A certified lifeguard qualification is a must for this role.
