At Diyar United Company, we are seeking an exceptional Bid Management Specialist to join our IT Recruitment team.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in managing bids and quotations for potential customers. As a Bid Management Specialist, you will be responsible for leading technical and sales teams to produce winning proposals, often managing multiple bids simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bid management, with a proven track record of producing high-quality proposals that meet customer requirements. You will work closely with sales, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication throughout the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as program officer for all bids and take responsibility of bids submissions and handover in liaison and coordination with Pre-Sales, Technical, Support, and Sales Team Members.
  • Produce plans for the efficient and successful management of bids in line with company best practice and according to customer requirements.
  • Review tender documents and form an understanding of the requirement.
  • Liaise with the concerned departments to get the relevant documents to be incorporated in the Bid.
  • Communicate with the respective vendors to get the needed proposals and prices for the bids.
  • Review Teams content and tailor/write/author parts of the proposal/RFI/RFP, etc where necessary.
  • Design the contents, organization and aesthetics of the bids and proposals.
  • Perform editorial reviews of bids.
  • Arrange bid review meetings, taking and circulating notes and actions.
  • Question and challenge inputs to the proposal looking through the 'customers' eyes.'Help develop the deal strategy and approach.
  • Carry out research, internally and externally as required, to support bid production.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a leading Consultancy / System Integration Company.
  • Experience of a co-ordination role within an office environment.
  • Excellent understanding of Platform and Application Solutions.
  • Proposal writing skills.
  • Project costing techniques.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an appreciation of process and quality.
  • Competent in reviewing and interpreting complex documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to plan, priorities and manage own workload with strict deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and listening skills.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Good Technical Background in ICT Solutions.
  • Proof Reading Skills.
  • Good coordination and self-motivation skills are essential.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (particularly MS Word, MS Excel, Visio and Power Point are essential).
