Job Overview

The Telemarketing Agent position at RESO involves engaging with customers over the phone to promote our products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Cold Calling Strategies: Develop and implement effective cold calling techniques to identify potential customers.
  2. Sales Engagement: Build relationships with customers to persuade them to purchase our products or services.
  3. Lead Identification: Identify and capture leads from various sources, including referrals and lead generation activities.
  4. Data Conversion: Convert data insights into qualified leads and conduct sales calls.

Key Duties:

  1. Serving Customers: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers via telephone to sell products.
  2. Contacting Prospects: Reach out to individuals by phone to solicit sales for our products or services.
  3. Product Recommendations: Provide recommendations on product changes, services, and policies based on market developments and results analysis.
  4. Customer Complaint Resolution: Investigate customer complaints, develop solutions, and prepare reports for management consideration.
  5. Professional Development: Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  6. Market Research: Conduct client or market surveys, documenting sale or service details.
  7. Sales Presentations: Deliver prepared sales talks using scripted materials to promote our products or services.
  8. Product Explanation: Clearly explain product features, prices, and answer customer inquiries.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts, and orders within our company's system.
  10. Customer Information: Gather customer information such as name, address, and payment method, entering orders into computers.
  11. Lead Acquisition: Obtain names and phone numbers of potential customers from legitimate sources like referrals, cold calling, and other means.
  12. Support Functions: Assist the line manager by completing tasks assigned when necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Minimum Education: High school certification is required.
  2. Preferrred Qualification: Diploma and relevant work experience are desirable.
  3. Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication is essential.
  4. Selling Skills: Strong selling abilities are crucial for success in this role.
  5. Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, teamwork ethos, and ability to persuade others are vital.
  6. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is necessary.
  7. Customer Understanding: Good understanding of the services offered is essential.
  8. Persuasion and Empathy: Ability to persuade others and give full attention to customers' needs is critical.

Working Conditions:

Normal working hours are 40 hours per week. The role may involve rotating shifts, occasional weekend work, and/or evening work.
