The successful candidate will ensure that all project costs are accurately tracked, controlled, and reported, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of the project's financials, including budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Preparation of detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and material take-offs based on project drawings and specifications.
  • Review and preparation of contract documents, including tender submissions, variation orders, and claims.
  • Management of all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Provision of regular financial reports to stakeholders, including cost forecasts, cash flow analysis, and budget status updates.
  • Preparation and verification of interim payment certificates, final accounts, and subcontractor payments.
  • Identification and mitigation of potential financial risks.
  • Collaboration with engineering and construction teams to ensure alignment of project costs with the overall project plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and quantity surveying practices.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office applications.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
