Internal Investigation Lead

Responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute internal investigations independently, focusing on compliance standards and policies.
- Coordinate with other functions to report findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Identify and evaluate compliance risk areas and suggest remediation actions.
- Assist in country compliance reviews/audits and desktop audits of global operations.
- Prepare investigative reports and financial analyses for management.
- Help identify and address process gaps and non-compliant conduct.
- Design and deliver investigations training to non-Compliance investigators.
- Support other compliance projects as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience leading internal investigations and managing related caseloads.
- Knowledge of FCPA and UK Bribery Act principles and practices.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
- Strong research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and project management in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion handling sensitive matters, understanding privilege issues.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience with case intake databases like EthicsPoint.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-house/corporate compliance or legal experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles and forensic accounting experience.
- Experience working with outside counsel or consultants.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, and electronic data review tools like Relativity or Nuix.
Education:
University degree in Legal or Finance is required.
J.D., formal investigative/legal training, forensic accounting training, proficiency with JDE/SAP are preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
- Minimum 5 years of legal, compliance, or investigations experience.
- At least 3 years supporting or leading fraud or anti-corruption investigations.
