IT Technical Specialist for Application Support

The role holder is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all banking applications, monitoring performance, and coordinating with vendors to resolve reported issues. They are also responsible for troubleshooting system defects and unit testing for corrections.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provides functional & technical support to the internal banking system and interdependent interfaces
- Escalates core issues to the vendor helpdesk and coordinates with them to get the fix at the earliest
- Supports in configuration, patches, updates, and upgrade management of the Internal Channels system
- Performs unit testing for system fixes and resolves performance problems
Self-Management Responsibilities:
The role holder defines their performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with their reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year. Additionally, they identify training and development requirements for themselves and agree on them with their reporting manager to ensure that required trainings are arranged and attended.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer systems or any other related field is mandatory. Minimum Years of Experience: 5-10 years of experience.
