We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality services department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Emptying Wastebaskets and Ashtrays: Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas in a timely manner.
- Maintaining Guest Property: Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, reporting damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors immediately.
- Inspecting Equipment: Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Cleaning Linens: Sort, count, and mark clean linens, then store them in linen closets.
- Dusting and Polishing: Dust and polish furniture and equipment to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Cleaning Rugs and Upholstery: Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
To succeed as a Housekeeper, you will need excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
