Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE strategies, policies, and procedures in line with local and international regulations.

Ensure full compliance with all statutory HSE requirements, including safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.

Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective and preventive measures.

Oversee employee safety training programs, including fire safety and emergency evacuation drills.

Maintain up to date HSE documentation and reports for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with departmental heads to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective control measures.

Promote a proactive safety culture and act as a change agent for continuous HSE improvement.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in HSE inspections or audits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HSE roles within the manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

Certifications: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent. o Firefighting and First Aid certification (mandatory). o ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 lead auditor certification is a plus.

Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HSE regulations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to handle pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time
