MAIN OBJECTIVES

The Sales Officer is responsible for developing strong partnerships with SMEs, corporate clients, and individual customers to influence key decision-makers and establish GAA as their preferred provider of aviation and non-aviation training. This role aims to maximize sales revenue by engaging both new and existing clients, updating sales pipelines, maintaining schedules, providing feedback, tracking sales records, and following up on client payments.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Generate Revenue

  • Identify and act on current and future business opportunities to maximize revenue.

  • Implement cross-selling and upselling programs for clients.
  • Develop and coordinate sales objectives, plans, and targets for key accounts to meet overall revenue and marketing goals.
  • Conduct B2C/B2B sales via phone, email, and in-person meetings, while maintaining clear communication with team members and updating the sales pipeline.
  • Build and execute sales initiatives to meet targets, including promoting new products to customers.

    2. Performance Review and Improvement
    - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer base to identify market trends and sales opportunities.
    - Promote all aviation and non-aviation programs, including innovations like e-learning and AR/VR.
    - Monitor progress against targets and implement corrective actions for any identified gaps.
    - Anticipate and communicate potential issues to management to minimize negative impacts.
    - Track market conditions and support the QA and finance teams in ensuring accurate revenue capture.
    - Provide regular reports on customer revenue and variances in line with the business plan.
    - Conduct marketing communications and public relations as needed and attend company events to capture sales opportunities.
    - Execute tasks assigned by the manager that align with job requirements, ensuring timely and effective completion while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

    3. External Customer Satisfaction
    - Build strong relationships with customers, including self-funded students and corporate clients, to understand their needs.
    - Monitor customer requests and ensure performance aligns with plans.
    - Oversee after-sales support services in coordination with other GAA units to maintain high customer satisfaction.
    - Assist in preparing promotional materials and organizing events for all business segments.
    - Manage inquiries, walk-ins, and social media accounts for the Academy.
    - Ensure sales-related materials are adequate and services meet the Academy's standards.
    - Conduct regular outreach to new and existing clients to foster business relationships and track communications.
    - Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of sales, marketing, and deliveries.
    - Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

EDUCATION & TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
  • Strong team player with excellent negotiating and sales skills.
  • Responsible, with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in sales planning and presentations related to training processes.
