About Us

Albayt Plastic is a Bahrain-based manufacturer specializing in plastic bags, garbage bags, table-top covers, polythene sheeting, shrink wrap, and custom-printed packaging. We supply to distributors, supermarkets, wholesalers, factories, food service companies, cleaning companies, and government/institutional buyers.

We are expanding our sales team and are seeking a motivated Sales Officer to drive growth across Bahrain and the GCC.

Role Overview

The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing customers, understanding client requirements, and coordinating with the production team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to build trust quickly with clients in both B2B and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new client relationships in Bahrain and GCC markets
  • Conduct sales visits to wholesalers, supermarkets, distributors, factories, and cleaning supply companies
  • Prepare and submit RFQs, quotations, and pricing proposals
  • Maintain and grow recurring customer accounts
  • Work with the production team to confirm delivery timelines and specifications
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to optimize sales strategy
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and customer pipeline updates
  • Attend exhibitions, trade events, and client meetings as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in B2B sales; experience in plastic packaging, FMCG, cleaning supplies, or manufacturing preferred
  • Valid Bahrain driving license (required)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand product specifications (sizes, microns, packaging formats — training provided)
  • Motivated, disciplined, and target-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a strong advantage
