Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Manama for an Occupational Health and Safety Officer. The Occupational Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety policies. Additionally, the officer will inspect facilities, manage incident investigations, and deliver safety training to employees.

Qualifications

  • Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills
  • Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Relevant certification such as NEBOSH
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Experience in the shipbuilding or maritime industry is a plus
