Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organization has the right level of skills, knowledge, and motivation through structured assessment, development, training, and coaching.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analysis to define training and development requirements for the organization and front liners at all levels.
  2. Competency-Based Learning: Ensure a competency-based approach to learning and development, aligning with organizational goals.
  3. Training Needs Fulfillment: Identify training needs at organizational and individual levels and fulfill them through internal or external training programs.
  4. Provider Liaison: Collaborate with external training providers or ensure delegates do so to deliver high-quality training solutions.
  5. Internal Training Staff Management: Develop and manage internal training staff, including coaches, to support learning initiatives.
  6. Training Content Development: Create effective training content and courses that meet organizational needs.
  7. Training Sessions and Assessments: Deliver engaging training sessions and assessments to measure learning outcomes.
  8. Consulting Services: Provide expert consulting services on training and development issues to drive business results.
  9. Training Coordination: Plan and coordinate training with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following:

  • Training Experience: Proven experience in a training position, with knowledge of sales and customer service principles.
  • Development/Career Plans: Experience with development/career plans, assessments, gap analysis, etc., is advantageous.
  • Content Development: Ability to create engaging content.
  • Management Development: Experience in management development.
  • Personal Profiling: Personal profiling skills.
  • Coaching Experience: Coaching experience.
  • People Performance Management: Ability to manage people performance.
