Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works in accordance with project BIM execution plans and company standards.
  • Support the integration of design data from consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure complete, accurate, and coordinated BIM deliverables.
  • Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation required for design, tendering, and construction purposes.
  • Update and maintain BIM models to reflect design revisions, client feedback, and as-built conditions.
  • Assist in producing 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity extractions from BIM models to support project teams.
  • Participate in design coordination and clash detection exercises under the guidance of senior BIM engineers.
  • Maintain organized BIM files, project libraries, and templates ensuring accuracy, version control, and traceability.
  • Collaborate closely with project engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve design or coordination issues identified in the BIM environment.
  • Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, company workflows, and authority requirements.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in BIM standards, model efficiency, and digital project delivery processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of practical experience in BIM modeling, drafting, or coordination within the construction industry (GCC experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; exposure to Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM tools is an asset.
  • Understanding of BIM Level of Development (LOD), coordination processes, and data exchange standards.
  • Strong technical skills with high attention to accuracy and visual detail.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain quality across multiple projects.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with Bahrain's construction documentation standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
