ob Description:

  • Assist in the preparation of basic 2D civil drawings such as site layouts, grading plans, road alignments, and utility layouts under the supervision of senior draftsmen or engineers.
  • Collaborate with Civil Engineers and Drafting Team to understand design concepts and project goals.
  • Prepare initial drawing drafts based on rough sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Revise drawings as needed based on feedback from senior staff or project updates.
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant drafting standards and company guidelines.
  • Support the documentation and filing of drawings, layouts, and revisions in an organized manner.
  • Help maintain records of drawing changes and issue logs.
  • Assist in creating and updating standard drawing templates, title blocks, and drafting libraries.
  • Provide support in preparing drawings required for permit applications and approvals.
  • Participate in internal design and coordination meetings when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar drafting role (internship or site experience is a plus).
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Familiarity with software such as Revit, SketchUp, or Civil 3D is an advantage.
  • Understanding of basic civil engineering concepts and construction terminology.
  • Ability to read simple engineering sketches and assist in developing accurate technical drawings.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering or construction environment.
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to follow drafting standards and instructions.
  • Basic organizational and communication skills.
