Job Title: Commis Chef

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will support senior chefs in preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in preparing ingredients and basic cooking tasks

  • Follow recipes accurately and ensure food is prepared to quality standards

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Properly store and label food items and ingredients

  • Learn and develop skills across different kitchen stations

  • Comply with all food safety and health regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required

  • Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
