
Inventory & Storekeeper

We are looking for a reliable and organized Inventory & Storekeeper to manage the daily operations of our food and beverage storage and inventory system. This role is critical in maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring proper storage of ingredients and supplies, and supporting the smooth functioning of the kitchen and service teams in a high-end restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced in inventory control, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of all incoming food, beverage, and non-food items.
Organize and maintain proper storage of items according to FIFO (First In, First Out) and HACCP guidelines.
Maintain accurate inventory records for all stock using manual logs and/or inventory management software.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts; reconcile any discrepancies and report to management.
Issue ingredients and supplies to kitchen and service departments based on requisition slips.
Monitor stock levels and alert management when reordering is required to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure all goods are stored at appropriate temperatures and conditions to maintain quality and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage areas at all times.
Assist in tracking and minimizing food waste or spoilage through effective inventory rotation and usage tracking.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and kitchen teams to improve inventory processes and cost control.
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
Familiarity with inventory software or POS systems (e.g., Oracle, Toast, MarketMan, or similar).
Knowledge of food storage, handling, and safety standards (HACCP or equivalent).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy stock items.
Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management.
Familiarity with restaurant workflows and kitchen supply needs.
Previous experience in high-end or fine-dining establishments is a plus.
