Reforming & Aromatics Technical Services Engineer (F/M)

Localisation : Bahrain

Job Objective :


• Provide post start-up technical services and assistance to Company licensed technology units and/or non-Company licensed

unit running with Company catalyst/adsorbent, including troubleshooting, and performance monitoring,

  • On-site support for start-ups, trouble shooting, inspections and/or catalyst/adsorbent loadings for process units,

Missions:

With an expertise in the Reforming & Aromatics you will:

  • Perform unit follow-up in close coordination with the dedicated Technical Services Group from HQ and Company Middle East and sales forecast/activity of subsidiary

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and report to Technical Services Group to make decisions

  • Provide technical expertise for catalyst/adsorbent change-outs where applicable

  • Provide feedback for improvements in designs and procedures based on field experiences

  • Analyze and monitor the performance of current operating units

  • Manage client interface during high stress situations such as start-ups, turnarounds, and emergencies

  • Work closely with other members of the Technical Services Group to acquire a good knowledge of Company processes

  • Fulfil the above at the expected Company standard

  • Promote, adhere and respect to Quality standards in accordance with the Company Headquarter Management Political and QHSE objectives when on site

Knowledge and Required Level :

  • You, as a candidate, must possess a bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical or equivalent. This educational background will provide you with the necessary foundation to excel in the following steps.

  • You should have at least 3 years of experience in operations in the field of petroleum refining or petrochemical. This experience will give you a solid understanding of the industry and the ability to troubleshoot problems effectively.

  • Your teamwork skills are crucial in this process. You should be able to collaborate with colleagues and work well in a team environment. Building long-term relationships with customers is also an important aspect of this role, so Your ability to establish and maintain strong connections will be highly valued.

  • An entrepreneurship spirit is desired in this process. You should be proactive, innovative, and willing to take initiative. This mindset will help drive growth and success in the organization.

  • Lastly, Your experience with working in an interdisciplinary environment is beneficial. This means that you have the ability to work with professionals from different fields and adapt to various perspectives and approaches.

  • By incorporating these qualities and experiences, You will be well-equipped to excel in this process and contribute to the success of the organization.

  • You must be proficient in English, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus for this position. Additionally, you must be prepared for frequent travel for this position.
