About Us
Connect6 Mena is an established trading company with a growing presence in the metals sector. As part of our strategic expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist who will be fully dedicated to developing our ferrous and non-ferrous metals business within Bahrain. This role is strictly focused on the local market, with the objective of building and strengthening our sourcing and sales network inside the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, approach, and build long-term relationships with Bahrain-based scrap suppliers, yards, industrial buyers, and manufacturers.
• Develop and implement business strategies exclusively for the Bahrain market, focusing on both sourcing and sales of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Negotiate local pricing, supply terms, and contracts to secure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Bahrain's metal industry, including pricing trends, regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and market dynamics.
• Generate and manage a local sales pipeline, ensuring monthly and quarterly targets are consistently met.
• Coordinate with internal operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure efficient contract execution within Bahrain.
• Represent the company at local industry events, associations, and trade forums to expand brand visibility and strengthen our local market position.
Qualifications & Experience
• 3–5+ years of experience in business development, procurement, or trading within Bahrain's metals or scrap industry.
• A strong existing network of local suppliers, traders, and industrial clients in Bahrain is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Bahraini market regulations, logistics channels, and pricing structures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Must be currently based in Bahrain and possess valid working rights.
