The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. The Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests' needs are met, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Greeting Guests:**
  2. Welcome guests as they arrive with a warm and friendly demeanor.

  3. Manage the seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

  4. **Reservation Management:**

  5. Handle and manage reservations via phone and online platforms.

  6. Maintain an organized and efficient waitlist during busy periods.

  7. **Customer Service:**

  8. Answer guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.

  9. Address guests' needs and assist them in a prompt and courteous manner.

  10. **Communication:**

  11. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

  12. Inform guests of their wait times and provide updates as necessary.

  13. **Cleanliness and Organization:**

  14. Keep the reception area, menus, and waiting areas clean and organized.

  15. Assist in setting and clearing tables as needed.

  16. **Problem-Solving:**

  17. Handle guest complaints or issues with grace and professionalism.
  18. Seek assistance from management when necessary to resolve guest concerns.

**Qualifications:**

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication a​nd interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
