Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Amwaj Islands is now looking for a Front Office Associate - Receptionist to join their team

Responsible for delivering a professional operational efficiency of all front office areas during shift and the service delivery of those areas. The Job incumbent works in line with the hotels guidelines and business plan, and Wyndham Corporate policies and procedures, and according to local requirements and regulations to achieve excellent day-today operational performance which reinforces the company's values and builds its long-term capacity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Attends shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known

· Delivers and completes front office operations during assigned shift including:

o Maintenance of guest information

o Maintenance of information about local events

o Compile occupancy statistics

o Supervise group bookings

o Assisting with serious complaints

· Delivers and completes cashiering activities during shift including:

o Cash handling and banking procedure

o Dealing with irregular payments

o Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities

o Instructing staff in cash security procedures

o Carry out debtor control

o Prepare reports

o Supervise the cashiering system
