Job Overview

The Telemarketing Agent will be responsible for:

  1. Using cold calling techniques to prospect potential customers.
  2. Persuading potential customers to purchase products or services.
  3. Obtaining referrals and leads from various sources through lead generation activities.
  4. Contributing to data collection and converting leads into sales calls.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Selling products via telephone to customers.
  2. Contacting individuals to solicit sales.
  3. Recommending product, service, or policy changes based on evaluations.
  4. Resolving customer complaints and developing solutions.
  5. Maintaining professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
  6. Conducting surveys and documenting sales or service details.
  7. Delivering sales pitches using scripts to persuade customers.
  8. Explaining products, services, and prices, and answering customer questions.
  9. Maintaining contact and order records in the company's system.
  10. Gathering customer information and entering it into the system.
  11. Generating potential customer contacts through referrals and cold calling.
  12. Supporting the line manager with assigned tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma and work experience are preferred.
  • Strong communication and selling skills.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the services offered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Persuasive and attentive listening skills.
Working Conditions

Normal working hours are 40 hours per week, with potential rotating shifts. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
