Lead Functional Domain Specialist

This role offers an opportunity to apply your domain knowledge, skills, and experience within the Customer Success Services (CSS) team, focusing on Oracle SaaS/PaaS products. Responsibilities include maintaining and supporting customers' eBusiness Suite applications and Fusion SaaS, either on-site or remotely, implementing and managing PaaS solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud/SOA, and integrating with Oracle SaaS products. You will develop, integrate, and implement application components, including front-end development, internal database integration, and OTBI Reports. The role involves programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Oracle Cloud applications. The financials domain specialist ensures solution architecture feasibility and mitigates risks by leveraging a network of subject matter experts across various domains. Additionally, proposing customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solutions is part of the role. We seek an experienced FIN domain specialist with a focus on functional FIN process architecture and solution architecture across all disciplines of the FIN function. Broader Oracle ERP application knowledge is desirable.

1. Lead and participate as a Functional leader/Advisor in various service activity streams such as Gap Analysis, Solution Design, POCs, Demonstrations, Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, Project Delivery, Quality Assurance, collaborating with Oracle teams at client locations or offshore.
2. Document and review Requirement Specifications Documents.
3. Analyze business requirements, participate in functional design, and document/review Functional Specification documents.
4. Travel as needed to client sites (within and outside MEA) for implementations, product walkthroughs, and POC workshops.
5. Coordinate with onsite teams and client personnel during implementations to ensure project success.
6. Use defined standards, tools, and processes to deliver quality work aligned with Oracle/Client expectations.
7. Document all work according to agreed standards and processes.
8. Adhere to the Change Control Process of Oracle/Client and comply with audit and compliance requirements.
9. Perform accurate handovers and knowledge transfers at the end of each assignment.
10. Provide timely status reports to supervisors.
11. Submit timesheets promptly for Oracle/Clients.

• Experience working in Finance modules such as Fusion GL, Fusion AR, Fusion Payables, and other financial modules/products as a Functional Consultant.
• 10+ years of experience with Oracle applications, SaaS, and PaaS solutions, including at least 6+ years in SaaS implementations, with proven industry experience in FIN solutions at a consultancy or customer site.
• Self-starter capable of working independently and in teams.
• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle SaaS (eBusiness Suite knowledge is a plus), within at least one industry.
• Ability to collaborate with client Business Teams independently.
• Skills to analyze solution approaches, estimations, methodologies, risks, and recommendations.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and map them to existing products or features.
• Experience leading project meetings and product walkthroughs with customers.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong industry terminology, concepts, and process knowledge in at least one industry.
• Proficiency in English communication and documentation; Arabic skills are strongly recommended.
• Experience in the implementation/support of Oracle SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
• Willingness to work offshore and travel to client sites for various durations.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Willingness to obtain Oracle SaaS certifications as needed.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of multiple business industries.
• Knowledge of FMW/PaaS development tools is a plus.

• Basic SQL query writing, report creation, workflow/dashboard development.
• Exposure to software development processes, practices, and testing tools.
