Role snapshot

Based from Manama, Bahrain, you will be the technical link between industrial customers across Bahrain and our comprehensive range of power-transmission products—bearings, belts, chains & sprockets, pulleys, couplings and related services. Your mission is to identify problems, engineer value-adding solutions and grow profitable sales while ensuring full compliance with Bahrain regulations and our company's high ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand customer challenges by visiting maintenance, reliability and purchasing teams, then translate their needs into tailored technical proposals.
  • Engineer and present solutions—product upgrades, material changes, lubrication improvements or complete kits—that enhance uptime and reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Compose clear quotations and cost-benefit analyses, using lifecycle calculations that resonate with Bahrain industry decision-makers.
  • Drive business development: follow a structured call plan to open new accounts, deepen share-of-wallet at existing ones and maintain an accurate pipeline in the CRM.
  • Provide first-line application support and coordinate with internal engineers or OEM partners when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Track market and application trends in Bahrain (e.g., mining, water & wastewater, oil & gas, cement) and channel insights to the product-management team.
  • Ensure full legal and HSE compliance under Bahrain labour, trade-control and environmental regulations.
  • Report performance via weekly visit summaries and monthly forecasts.
  • Stay current by attending technical workshops, industry events and professional societies in Bahrain and the wider GCC.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, inside sales and finance to deliver a seamless customer experience.

What you'll bring

  • Problem-solving mindset that converts technical data into measurable customer value.
  • Solid product knowledge of rotating-equipment components (bearings, belts, chains & sprockets, pulleys, couplings, lubrication).
  • Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively within heavy industry—mining, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing or similar.
  • Proficiency with CRM and MS Office; ability to read CAD drawings or use selection software is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills in English; Arabic fluency is highly desirable.
  • Curiosity, innovation and determination to exceed targets.

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 2–5 years of industrial field-sales experience—ideally within Bahrain or the wider GCC.
  • Valid Bahrain (or GCC-transferable) driving license and willingness to travel nationwide (~60 % of time).
  • Familiarity with local procurement processes and HSE standards is a plus.
