Job PurposeAssuring overall network health and service soundness by actively monitoring all network elements, handling incidents, compiling statistics and reports, and acting as the first-line technical support contact for network-related issues and customer complaints.
Main Responsibilities and Duties- Monitor alarms, handle incidents, and ensure proper incident reporting.
- Handle customer complaints, perform first-line troubleshooting, and provide resolutions.
- Verify and report on business and technical statistics.
- Perform test procedures, analyze results, and identify service problems.
- Assist skilled teams in restoring services when possible.
- Create and follow up on trouble tickets with OLOs, interconnect partners, and international carriers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including regular checks and backups.
- Develop new processes to address gaps and coordinate between departments.
- Conduct awareness workshops on change processes and compliance.
- Manage change activities to ensure integrity and proper closure.
- Maintain logs of all events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Effective communication, active listening, and information sharing.
- Understanding customer requirements, exceeding expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Teamwork and cooperation to achieve solutions beneficial to all parties.
- Self-awareness and emotional management in relationships.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer, or telecom.
- 0-2 years of experience is a plus.
