Our client is a Bahrain based business that is undergoing a continual growth phase. They are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to work in a senior role in their core finance team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation, analysis and distribution of the monthly management reports.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements and modifications to the MIS reports and production process where appropriate.
  • Preparation and distribution of the divisional monthly performance reports.
  • Management of the annual budget process.
  • Assist with the preparation/review of accounting procedures for new products/issues.
  • Management of the quarterly financial reporting process and the preparation of the quarterly financial statements.
  • Management of the annual financial reporting process and the preparation of the financial statements.
  • Provide an interface with the External Auditors to assist with the clearance of the financial statements.

Applicants must have the following:

  • Recently qualified accounting professional (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA).
  • 5+ years' experience in an accounting / financial control function within a financial institution, or a similar period within an accounting firm.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools, such as Business Objects.
  • Direct SQL knowledge, ability to write queries.
  • Preferably has experience from one of the Big Four.
