The Technical Sales Engineer will be the primary technical resource supporting the internal/external field sales force. They are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage early in the sales process. Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and solution advocate, the Application Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The Application Engineer must establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle involving customers, specifying engineers, distribution partners, internal/external resources, and vendors.

Main responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers/subsidiaries to understand project requirements
  • Inform customers and internal sales teams about the best solutions tailored to the project
  • Support Pre-Sales activities and assist the sales network in technical discussions with customers
  • Conduct preliminary engineering and pricing
  • Provide cross-functional support for projects
  • Assist in product placement within project specifications

Perform feasibility analysis of requests for offers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles
  • Precision and attention to detail

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and relational skills
  • Strong organizational and management skills
