**Job Summary**

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of all production machinery and equipment. This role involves conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform regular inspections and maintenance for factory structures, auxiliary machinery, and equipment. Including the buildings, lifts, overhead cranes, water chillers, air compressors, hydraulic systems, motors.
- **Machinery Maintenance**: Cooperate with electric engineer and contribute to maintenance of machines used mainly in the production of plastic pipes including extruders, injection molding machines, and other related equipment.
- **Steel Fabrication**: contributing and supervising all phases including design, fabrication, painting, and erection.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to reduce production downtime.
- **Preventative Maintenance**: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure the longevity and reliability of all production equipment.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- **Spare Parts Management**: Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts when needed.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the production team to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories. Prepare reports and present findings to management.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and procurement, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- **Training**: Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff and operators on the proper use and care of equipment.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- **Computer Skills**: Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
