∙ Addressing health, safety and worker-management issues, including compliance with federal workplace laws
- ∙ Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- ∙ Develop training and development programs
- ∙ Assist in performance management processes
- ∙ Can do LMRA, Payroll and GOSI work
- ∙ Research potential vendors
- ∙ Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- ∙ Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- ∙ Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- ∙ Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- ∙ Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- ∙ Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- ∙ Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- ∙ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
