**Main Objectives**

Ensure efficiency in operations by implementing set guidelines with modifications as required. Executes the timely and accurate preparation of various kinds of documentation pertaining to import cargo etc. Ensures accurate preparation of transshipment documents and executes and monitors their timely dispatch to Export Cargo. Ensure adherence to all quality standards as defined by the organization or by the airlines with respect to import offloading, dispatch to consignees etc.

**Main Duties**
- Execute accurate data entry as per Airway bills and cargo manifests; this includes entering details pertaining to AWB number, flight details, nature of goods, quantity, value etc.
- Physically prepare consignee documentation (rotation sheet) and ensure accurate charges are applied (reconcile rate against banks selling rate etc.).
- Receive key inputs on cargo details (through Airway Bill) and update these as per internal systems and processes (assist in preparing the cargo and mail manifest); this includes information on number of packages, nature of goods, gross weight, special cargo such as valuable goods and livestock, enters code numbers.
- Check transshipment documentation (Airway Bills etc.) and ensure timely and accurate entry on transfer manifest for timely dispatch to Export Cargo.
- Reconcile documentation to verify accuracy of information (check rotation sheet with Checker’s copy of imported cargo manifest).
- Verify contents of report in case of mishandled cargo and coordinate with seniors to ensure process compliance.
- Monitor escalations and resolve queries as required to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Seek inputs from previous shift (through log book), identify discrepancies / escalations if any, investigate and report accordingly to seniors.
- Execute efficiency in the handling of services through adherence strict quality standards established and compliance with airline procedures.
- Physically attend to customers/consignees queries on deliveries and ensure timely resolution of these.
- Ensure audit standards are met through regular monitoring of standards set in accordance with QA requirements (surprise / spot checks).
- Comply with the Company and Airport authorities’ health, safety, and security regulations.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Education**:
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by Cargo I & II course, Special Cargo Handling course and DGR (Dangerous Goods) License.

**Experience**:
2 years experience in cargo handling operations in an airport or with an airline.

**Other Essential Requirements**:

- Fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Fair knowledge in using computers.
